As a technical producer I worked in production of a large-scale immersive installation for Dubai Expo 2020. I provided technical support using my knowledge of production for 3D animations, projection mapping, holograms, VFX, green screen shoots, and VR. I worked as part of a hungry team, helping with scripts, storyboards, animatics, shoots and post production.
I helped produce and film a travel video for the Sarawak Tourism Board. Over the course of 9 days, we travelled across Sarawak, sampling natural and urban landscapes, and capturing the raw beauty of Malaysia. The final piece was shown in cinemas and on billboards in Kuala Lumpur, as well as picking up the 'Best Video' award at the Malaysian Digital Film Awards (MDFA) in 2019.
In 2020 I worked with one of my favourite musicians by the name of Hiatus. We created a psychedelic music video to promote the lead single 'Distancer' for his upcoming album. The video was full of magical colours and old world charms draped in fragility and nostalgia. It included the use of GANs (General Adversarial Networks) to simulate a machine 'dreaming' of Iranian mosques.
Tesla Motors. With a reputation for being a city car, we wanted to showcase the Model S range in an exciting, rugged environment. I wanted to portray a sense of adventure and the Scottish Highlands served as the perfect backdrop for the idea. Shot on location using a Sony FS7 camera and a DJI Mavic Pro drone. Elon Musk would be proud.
